What is Wamp?

Wamp stands for Windows Apache MySQL PHP. As you will have understood, this contains an Apache configuration with the MysQL Database server (Now also contains MariaDB) as well as the PHP programming language. Wamp is a software including a pre-configuration of these elements for Windows. Wamp is made to facilitate development, it is not made for Production Stations where it is necessary to install the bricks separately and configure them.
